No account, advertising, analytics, tracking, third-party tracking SDK, or network connection is used by the app.
Information processed by the app
Letters entered into the simulator and their ciphered output are processed entirely on the device. They are not transmitted by Pocket Enigma. The optional IN/OUT text buffer can be disabled in Settings; when disabled, the message text is not retained by the buffer.
Information stored on the device
Pocket Enigma stores the selected machine configuration locally so it can be restored the next time the app opens. This includes machine model, wheels, windows, ring settings, reflector, plugboard, and display preference. Deleting the app removes this locally stored app data according to the normal behaviour of iOS and iPadOS.
Sharing and third parties
Pocket Enigma does not sell, rent, transmit, or share personal information. It does not include advertising networks, analytics services, or social tracking.
Children’s privacy
Because Pocket Enigma collects no personal data, it does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
